Dr. Vijay Kumar Malladi (Oncologist in Hyderabad) pursued his MBBS at Osmania Medical College, February 1982. And he did his M.D. (Radio Therapy) also in Osmania Medical College, April 1989.
Achievements
- He has treated a total of 36 cases of Bilateral Retinoblastoma over a period of 10 years (1989 – 1999) with Chemo – Radiation in stages Group III to Group V with Preservation of Vision.
- With this modality the structural integrity and function of the eyes were very well preserved.
- He presented his results at various State and National Conferences of Radiation Oncology & Ophthalmology respectively.
- Worked as Drawing Officer in P.H.C. Narsingi, Medak District, from October 1992 to October 1994 and held additional charge for Five more surrounding P.H.Cs during the period and selected as “Best Doctor” of the District for the year 1993 – 1994.
